Veerappan : Movie Review
A biopic of
a man like Veerappan was expected to be full of intense drama and mind blowing
planning sequences, but this film has completely thrashed these expectations
with irritating and senseless background music and a really bad execution.
This film’s
main protagonist had to be Veerappan but Sachin Joshi taking away most of the screen time confuses the audience that who actually is the hero?? Even that
could be pardoned for once but the poor performance and lack of acting skills
of Sachin Joshi in the film makes it a complete waste.
What
attracts the audience most is the fabulous lookalike of Veerappan and the curiosity about how Veerappan was killed?
The expected
comeback of Ram Gopal Verma disappoints the audience not because of the story
but because of its poor execution.
This story
revolves around a lean man who made it to the history of brutal killers who also was a Jabra fan of the late LTTE Chief Vellupali Prabhakaran. Veerappan had fancied to share his idea of joining hands with him in kidnapping celebrities for extorting huge sums of money.
This guy’s
story has the capacity to grab the audience’s attention but its poor execution
really disappoints the audience.
A guy who
became notorious for his brutality was killed brutally but to know how one need to go and watch Veerapan.
Nothing more can
be written because there is no major content in the film.
Go and watch
Veerappan, a clever and a notorious killer ever born on the
Indian land, but not for anything else.
