“Ek Tarfah Pyaar Ki Taaqat Hi Kuch Aur Hoti Hai… Auro Ki Tarah Ye Do Logo Me Nahi Battha… Sirf Mera Haqq Hai Ispe.”- ADHM

Happy Diwali to all!!

Sad to say that this Diwali film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ fails to impress the audience. It’s more of an ok ok film that we generally say. The most awaited film miserably falls apart in its plot and the way it's made, only some scenes are heart touching while others are purely over dramatic and cheesy.

In the initial hour of the film the story doesn’t move an inch, nothing happens, it’s just two people enjoying their accidental friendship. The history of a boy falling for the girl who doesn’t know about it, is repeated. Although, I agree that this topic is still powerful and still has the potential to win the audience’s hearts and emotions but in this case the topic is filmed in the same way like other Karan Johar films are made (Clichéd), but on the other hand there is still a way huge audience for typical Karan Johar fims- sorry to say but this film will disappoint you.

Whenever the protagonist falls for a girl either she loves someone else or she loves him too but she is ready to sacrifice her love because she knows he loves someone else! – I mean what a crap…!

What really is liked by the audience is the beautiful screenplay, Cinematography and the songs. I guess people into the film editing field will easily understand the power of colour grading in the film.

One will feel cheated when he/she will encounter the climax of the film and will surely feel that this film could be a blockbuster only if the writer of the film didn’t take the audience for granted. I would suggest the readers to go and watch this film just to know how a film with some potential can directly go into a trash bin during those 157 minutes.

The songs of the film have to be appreciated as it had soul in it and easily gelled with the audience’s emotions.

Acting of course is another factor which has to be appreciated. Ranbir Kaboor was excellent during the emotional scenes and Anushka was great while emoting her dilemma in the film.
Go and watch the film to experience the pain of one sided love through the acting of Ranbir…. Oh…never mind about the film.
