"Absolutely magnificent... Dhoni, finishes off in-style... a magnificent strike into the crowd! India lifts the world cup after 28 years, the party started in the dressing room and it's an Indian captain who's been absolutely magnificent at the night of the final."- Commentator, 2011 Cricket World Cup.

Shushant Singh Rajput shines well throughout the film and his hard work studying Dhoni’s skills can be clearly seen. Being a 3hour 10minute film, earlier it was felt that the film might drag the story a bit but by surprise the film doesn’t. The eagerness to know the story of a living legend and the ability of the director to make the film in such a way that gives Goosebumps to the viewers are the major plus points of the film.

M.S. Dhoni- An Untold Story, is an ode to friendship, struggles, responsibility, compromise and facing life regardless of the unexpected turns and twists.
The editing team of the film has also done a great job as it tried to make the film as real as possible. For example morphing Sushant into the actual video of the match with Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Sngh.

The romantic scenes in the film could be improved as love also played a major role in Dhoni’s life. But this drawback gets faded when the other great aspects of the film amazes the audience.

As a reviewer I actually don’t want to reveal anything about the way the story of the film is compiled up, because it will spoil the viewing experience of the reader.

A must watch for everyone as this is one of those films which leaves an impact on everyone’s lives. Go and watch this film for this inspiring story, mind blowing Sushant’s resemblance to Dhoni and a 190 minute journey of back to back Goosebumps.

Baar Baar Dekho: Movie Review

There are a lot moments in the film to be celebrated about. The realization of the importance of the present shown in a different way in the film makes ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ a special weekend entertainer.

To enjoy the film firstly scientific logics have to be kept aside, because if the film is watched from a scientific viewpoint this film is irrelevant. But! Simply understanding the little but cute also the big but relate-able moments in  the film makes you come out from the movie theater as a person who realizes the importance of present and the peace of mind while enjoying the small moments of life.

A relationship right from the childhood of Jai (Siddharth Malhotra) and Diya (Katrina Kaif) that later in their adulthood turned into a near situation of marriage, was quite not acceptable for Jai. As Jai being a genius in mathematics wanted a successful career than just being stuck between Diya and her Father.

What next the story unveils is Jai experiencing the good and worst highlights of his life- basically he wakes up in his future every time he sleeps. This confused and scary journey to Jai was a way of realizing the importance of his present and the time he had wasted in just working on his so called to-be-successful career.

Unveiling those incidents would be literally lame as a reviewer, because those moments can only be enjoyed in a theatre than just reading it on a blog.

But to be truthful enough much of acting cannot be seen in the film just the way the film is made will entertain you, thanks to Nitya Mehra (Director). The supporting actors had not much to contribute but at the same time played some major roles in the protagonist’s life. Depiction of the futuristic world having the much developed gadgets are very similar to the present day imaginations of the future, so nothing new in that part of the film.

If the songs except ‘teri khair mangdi’ and ‘kala chashma’ were well made then this film could be the perfect Bollywood entertainer. However, if these minor flaws are kept aside then this film is really well made and has a good message.

Go and watch ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ for its entertaining element and its good message.
